Having started her career in a busy street shop in the late 2000s, Marissa’s natural artistic ability was galvanised by the exposure to multiple styles which working in this environment provided to her. Armed with this set of new skills and having realised her penchant and love for black and grey realism, she has since worked alongside many of the world’s finest realism tattooers, at many notable studios and conventions, gaining a wealth of knowledge, and even a few awards along the way. Humble, yet always driven to improve, she is amazing person to work with, both from a client’s and a colleague’s perspective. Stylistically, she loves playing with the disparity between tight, intricate details and beautifully soft fields of shading, which is most evident in the portrait tattoos she is renowned for creating.
