After spending her childhood growing up in the Victorian bush, Steph moved to Melbourne to persue her creative passions at the Victorian College of the Arts. Heavily influenced by her love of science fiction, dark surrealism and all things weird and wonderful, Stephanie was quickly drawn to the world of tattooing and it has been her medium of choice and creative outlet ever since. She has spent the last 14 years, working with some of this city, and the world’s most prominent tattoo artists, accumulating knowledge along the way.
Stephanie recently returned to Melbourne after a year exploring and tattooing in Ireland and is excited to share her accumulated skills and techniques with her home city. Her insatiable creative curiosity, combined with her natural artistic talent has meant she excels in many styles of tattooing. Colour, black and grey, geometric, ornamental and black work, she adopts techniques and applies her own individual flair to each piece she creates. At it’s best, her work seems to explore the relationship between humanity and the natural world and where these intersect with the “other” – blurring the line between our everyday lives and the realm of dreams.
